The Maryland Black Agenda 2030 was birthed from a conversation between the new leadership team of The Legislative Black Caucus Foundation during the 2018 Legislative Session to address the unmet needs of Black Communities throughout Maryland.
The Maryland Black Agenda 2030 is a strategic planning process that focuses on six issue areas that affect black communities in the state of Maryland. These areas are economic and community development (affordable housing); education; health and human resources; labor, employment, and training; peace and justice; environment and sustainable communities.
Workshops have been established with members of the community, lawmakers, historically black colleges and universities, National Pan-Hellenic Council, non-profit organizations, clergy, and other subject matter experts working together to create tangible goals, objectives, strategies, action plans and we welcome you to join our established workgroups and panel discussions on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2018 IN ANNAPOLIS AT THE MILLER SENATE OFFICE BUILDING.
