Name: 2018 Diversity and Inclusion Summit
Date: November 2, 2018 - November 3, 2018
Event Description:

The Johns Hopkins Carey Business School's Diversity and Inclusion Summit will provide attendees with the opportunity for growth by learning about the importance of diversity within the workplace. Additionally, those who attend will have the ability to tour our facilities at the Legg Mason Tower and engage with Carey Business School alumni, staff, and members of the Baltimore community.

The Diversity and Inclusion Summit will be divided into two separate days, so we invite you to participate in as much of the two day summit as you'd like. Friday's programing will appeal to a broad group. Saturday's programing is more focused on prospective students.

Please join us on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. for registration. At 12:30 p.m., we will begin with welcome remarks from Dean and Professor Bernard Ferrari, MD, JD, MBA. Immediately following lunch, the keynote address will be given by Brenda Darden Wilkerson, President and CEO, AnitaB.org. Our first panel of the day will be moderated by Mr. John A. Hunter. The day will conclude with a networking reception from 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

On Saturday, November 3, 2018, join the Admissions Staff for breakfast and registration at 8:30 a.m, and following breakfast, Professor Dr. James Calvin will lead a mock class, "Leading in a Diverse World." The rest of the morning will include a student-led panel, a session on GMAT preparation, and tips on how to finance your education.

We look forward to welcoming you to campus both Friday and Saturday!
